ACP in simple terms & how we integrate it
Key concepts
- Catalog feed — products with price, stock, images and attributes used by the assistant to search and suggest.
- Checkout session — an order object on your side. The assistant creates/updates it via standard endpoints (items, shipping address, contacts, promo codes).
- Totals — your backend returns the final amount including delivery, taxes and discounts; the assistant shows it before payment.
- Order confirmation — after customer consent the assistant confirms; the order is saved in your system and paid via your PSP.
- Notifications — webhooks/callbacks for payment and delivery statuses, surfaced to the customer in chat.
- Security & compliance — you keep fiscal receipts, refunds and accounting. The assistant is just a UI.
